Anna joined the ASC Office of Distance Education (ODE) in May 2025 as an Instructional Designer, bringing with her over 15 years of teaching experience in the Department of Psychology at The Ohio State University. She continues to teach courses in OSU’s General Education Bookends program.

Throughout her career, Anna has gained expertise in designing and delivering courses across in-person, synchronous, and asynchronous formats. Her passion for innovative, student-centered learning is reflected in her extensive consulting work with the American Psychological Association. There, she contributed to the development of interactive, research-based digital learning tools, including PsycLearn and a variety of MOOCs hosted on platforms like Coursera and EdX.

Anna is especially enthusiastic about applying principles of backward design, universal design for learning (UDL), and cognitive science to create inclusive and impactful educational experiences for all learners.

Outside of work, Anna enjoys spending time with her family, walking her dogs, running, and reading a good book.
